Marie Claire is 27 years old. Her young son had a stroke six years ago which left him unable to talk, walk, and eat. When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, she and her son had to leave their home and now live in a small room with 14 people. Marie Claire expressed how hard it is just to provide food and medication for her son, and the pandemic has made it even more difficult. Marie Claire has grown apart from the church and feels disconnected now more than ever. Through personal contact from a member of the LHM-Cameroon staff, Marie Claire has been connected to the Christian faith. She regularly listens to the LHM-Cameroon radio program, has enrolled in the ministry's Bible Correspondence Courses*, and enjoys her new church community where LHM recently referred her. She is thankful for LHM-Cameroon and sees God's blessings in her life.
