Wut is 21 years old and is a student at the local university. She volunteered at a COVID-19 medical center and ended up getting infected with the virus. She was upset when she received the positive test result and felt hopeless since she saw so many people struggling with the effects of the virus. She began treatment at another medical center where LHM—Myanmar volunteers visited. Wut practices a non-Christian religion, but when she saw the LHM—Myanmar team distributing topical booklets, she was interested in the one about stress. After recovering from her illness, she reached out to LHM—Myanmar to get involved with their weekly evening devotions. She joins the virtual meeting every week and is finding hope through the devotions. She continues to stay connected to LHM—Myanmar and is learning more about Christianity.
