Erika is a teen mother of two. She was abandoned by the father of her children and struggled to make ends meet. This led her to lose hope for her life. She learned about the LHM—Cameroon Divine Sewing School program and enrolled. As she became more involved in the program and heard the Gospel message that was being shared, she found hope for her life through Jesus. When she graduated from the program, she started using the skills she had learned to make a living. Erika recently returned to visit the sewing school with a sewing machine that she wanted to donate to assist future students in the program. She said, “The donation of the sewing machine to LHM—Cameroon is another way of expressing my sincere gratitude to the team for their relentless effort to restore hope and love in our hearts. It is also a powerful message sent to my younger ones who will enroll at LHM that it is possible to move from zero to hero when you trust God.”
