Daily Devotions

Psalm 143:11-12 “For Your name’s sake, O LORD, preserve my life; in Your righteousness, bring me out of trouble. In Your unfailing love, silence my enemies; destroy all my foes, for I am Your servant.”

Through His resurrection, Jesus destroyed all our foes-especially death. Our faith in Christ gives us the free gift of eternal life.

“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Romans 6:23).

“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith-and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God-not by works, so that no one can boast” (Ephesians 2:8-9).

“For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16).

Because of the gift of salvation given to us in grace, we respond with a grateful heart, serving our Lord. We tell others the Good News of God’s love in Christ! We live our lives as ones loved by God.

“Christ is risen!”

“He is risen, indeed! Alleluia!”

Application: Please pray for me, the author of these devotions, that I may never grow weary in serving Christ and His church. Pray the same prayer for your own pastor.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, I thank You for bringing Christ from death to life. May I serve You as long as I live. Give me Your Holy Spirit so that I may tell others the Good News about Jesus. In His name I pray. Amen.
