Meet Kimberly Millan

Kimberly MillanKimberly Millan is the Manager of Talent Engagement for Lutheran Hour Ministries (LHM) and provides support, resources, and a point of contact for all potential, new, and current employees at LHM.

She has been a part of the LHM family since January 2008, when her temporary assignment in the Gift Processing department became a permanent opportunity. She transitioned to part-time in HR a few years later, and before long, recognized that supporting the people in the organization that had come to be such a support to her was her true calling and passion. That early experience in HR led to a full-time role in recruitment and flourished to include the realms of Talent Engagement and Internal Communications – a development due in large part to her previous hybrid positions between departments and learning the ins and out of the different functional areas of the organization.

Kimberly earned her Professional in Human Resources certification (PHR) in May 2019 and continues to look for creative ways to implement that knowledge and experience to the benefit of LHM.

A St. Louis native, Kimberly still lives in the area with her husband, Stefen, and three sons. In her “free” time, she perfects the art of juggling a busy household and a rewarding career, longs for the days of diving into a good book, traveling, and listening to True Crime podcasts, but happily settles for the hour or so of mindless TV she can squeeze in after the little angels go to bed.
