Rev. Tim Radkey graduated from the University of North Texas in 1996 with a bachelor of applied arts and science degree, specializing in behavioral analysis. He also served in the United States Army as a reservist for six years. In May 2002, he received his master of divinity degree from Concordia Seminary, St. Louis.
Radkey was called to Hope Lutheran Church and School in Lubbock, Texas, where he has been serving for more than eight years. An avid runner, he competes in marathons and ultra-marathons. He thoroughly enjoys serving on the Board of Missions for the Texas District and is also excited about starting a non-profit called LIGHT4UGANDA, which aims to serve the Lutheran Church Mission Uganda and the rapid spread of the Gospel in that country. His greatest joy remains spending time with his wife Lea Ann and daughter Claire.
