About the Author
Rev. Gregory Seltz
Rev. Gregory Seltz is the Speaker of The Lutheran Hour, a position he has held since February 2011. As Speaker, Seltz is Lutheran Hour Ministries' (LHM) spiritual leader, evangelist and ministry emissary with The Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod and Lutheran Church-Canada. The Lutheran Hour airs on more than 1,350 stations across North America and the American Forces Network.
Before joining LHM, Seltz was the director of the Cross-Cultural Ministry Center and a professor of theology at Concordia University in Irvine, California. For more than a decade his work there trained students to launch ministries in a variety of cultural settings, including Vietnamese, Korean, Spanish, Indonesian, Indian and African-American.
Seltz holds a bachelor's degree in New Testament-biblical languages from Concordia University in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He also has a master of divinity degree in systematics-New Testament and a master of sacred theology in systematics from Concordia Seminary in St. Louis. He is currently pursuing his doctorate there as well.
