SACRAMENTO, CAThe 2013 ROC series kicks off with a power-packed weekend in sunny California! ROC-Sacramento is full of inspiring presentations, hands-on outreach projects, awesome worship music, and loads of practical tools that will transform the way you live as a witness and how you think about outreach!

Here's what's in store for you at ROC-Sacramento:

  • Practical outreach helps for everyday situations from Speaker of The Lutheran Hour Rev. Gregory Seltz
  • Presentation by Rev. Dean Nadasdy on outreach in today's world
  • Worship music led by Kip Fox
  • Breakout sessions on hard-hitting topics to reach our communities with the Gospel
  • Idea exchanges with outreach consultants in the "Guru Room"
  • Mini-workshops and one-on-one technological advice in the "Technology Center"
  • Age-appropriate training events for children and teens, and more!

While in Sacramento you can visit the California State Railroad Museum, tour the California State Capitol, stroll through the novelty shops in Old Town, pan for gold at Sutter's Mill, explore Native American artifacts at the California State Indian Museum, take in the 400 species of wildlife at the Sacramento Zoo, and so much more! If you're up for a drive, visit the El Dorado National Forest; it's loaded with lakes, rivers, trails, and fantastic scenery.
