Project JOEL Encourages Volunteer
Elvis shared that he volunteered with LHM—Panama’s Project JOEL program to receive social work credits. He got his first Bible while working with the program and was introduced to the Christian faith. He said that distributing toys and Christian literature and teaching values as a team has improved his life. Now in college, he is thankful for learning the values he was taught during his time with Project JOEL, and he wants to put his knowledge into practice by helping others learn the Word of God.
