Current Trip Information : Cambodia
Lutheran Hour Ministries' Online Mission Trips (OMT) simulate a virtual mission trip for kids in North America. This year students will go to Cambodia where they can experience life through the eyes of children that are connected to Jesus via the LHM ministry center in Cambodia. They will also learn about the country and culture and gain unique perspective on the world beyond the walls of their classroom.
The OMT program consists of four 20-minute pre-recorded videos - one for each day Monday through Thursday - that will engage the senses and pique curiosity while the students gain insight into ministry in a different part of the world. We will also provide curriculum to all your class to dig deeper into the geography, culture and customs of the country.
If you’ve traveled with us on some of the past trips you will notice some differences this time around! This year we will be offering a new interactive website in which the pre-recorded shows will be housed on. This website will walk through each day’s videos and offer a more in-depth interactive experience! Online meeting places will occur on social media to allow schools to engage with one another and LHM. This will allow for the conversation to continue beyond the day-to-day video segments.
Schools will also be given the opportunity to send in questions before the trip and see if they are answered during the week. As in years past, your school's designated chapel offerings will go directly to LHM–Cambodia. Your students can see how their mission dollars will spread the Good news of salvation through Jesus Christ to the people of Cambodia.

Engage your class in ministry through chapel offerings and classroom collections to support the important work LHM is doing around the world. The donations collected during the OMT are designated specifically to the country visited and will be used to further ministry in that location. Here’s how it works!
- When you register make sure to request the special banks for change collection (this is optional!) This year the milk banks will be ones that can become a class project. Students will be able to color in the milk banks and assemble them on their own!
- Print and post some of the resources available online to help share information about LHM’s work in the country featured in the current OMT;
- Collect the offerings during the week of OMT or anytime throughout your school year!
- Send a check with “OMT (country name)” in the memo line to:
