Noemi is 14 years old and participated in Project JOEL through her school. After a discussion about family, Noemi went to an LHM—Paraguay volunteer and asked if she could talk to her. She shared that she lives with her mother and brother since her parents separated. Her communication with her dad has fallen apart, and she wants to have a better relationship with him. The volunteer encouraged her to turn everything over to God in prayer. After a little while, Noemi's communication with her dad improved, and they are working on growing their relationship.
