#GivingTuesday is a global day of giving fueled by the power of social media and collaboration. Celebrated each year on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving, November 30 in 2021, #GivingTuesday kicks off the charitable season, when many people begin to focus on holiday and end-of-year giving.
Founded in 2012 by the 92nd Street Y-a community and cultural center in New York City-#GivingTuesday has inspired millions of people to give back and support the causes they believe in. Nearly $2.5 billion was donated to U.S. nonprofits during last year's GivingTuesday to benefit a tremendously broad range of organizations, and much more was given in volunteer hours, donations of food and clothing, and simple acts of kindness.
This year, your #GivingTuesday gift can help LHM expand the Gospel message around the globe at a time when many in this broken world are living without hope. Generous supporters of LHM have come together in 2021 to double gifts given through this campaign up to $100,000, taking your donation twice as far! 1. Donate to our Facebook Fundraiser and be entered in our GIVEAWAY
Facebook Fundraisers allow donors to donate directly through the social media platform in support of LHM's mission. This year you can win one of three Cameroon-inspired baskets. Items in the basket include coffee and chocolate from Cameroon, LHM items, and a face mask that was handmade by a woman in LHM-Cameroon's sewing school.
