More than 9,500 contributing members of the International Lutheran Laymen's League/Lutheran Hour Ministries voted in the recent election to fill open spots on the organization's Board of Directors. The elected candidates will be installed at the Board of Directors meeting in St. Louis in July.

Phillip Johnson of Maplewood, Minnesota, was elected to a two-year term as Vice Chairman, a position he was initially appointed to in August 2013. The following individuals were elected to three-year terms on the Board as Directors: Jack Ficken of Fairview, Tennessee; Gretchen Jameson of Brookfield, Wisconsin; Kay L. Meyer of St. Louis, Missouri; and Weldon Schwiebert of Westland, Michigan.

This is the fourth year that all contributing members have had an opportunity to participate in the election through mail-in and internet voting. Board members had previously been elected during the international convention of the Int'l LLL. Thanks to everyone who voted in 2015!
