Bridging the Culture Gap: Sentido Latino
Launched this spring, Sentido Latino, a Spanish-language podcast from LHM, has been connecting with listeners who tune into the lively banter of hosts Rev. Luciano Vega-Ayala and Deaconess Noemi Guerra. The program is distributed bi-weekly and addresses topics pertinent to immigrant Latinos making their way in the United States.

Sentido Latino podcasts have tackled subjects that resonate with listeners who are new to a culture that is often difficult to navigate. The program's title, Sentido Latino, which means "Latin sense," is further explained in its tagline, "Donde tu vida tiene Sentido." In English this means "Where Your Life Makes Sense."

Program notes for each podcast of Sentido Latino add value by introducing the topic; providing bullet-points for the program; offering website links and other resources; and supplying quotes or images that can be shared via Facebook and other social media.
