LHM Programs Provide Comfort to Bedridden Man
Chaup is 74 years old and has two children. Although he always followed a non-Christian religion, he did not spend much time practicing that religion. He has become bedridden and has been looking for a way to relieve his suffering. While listening to the radio one day, he came across the LHM—Thailand radio program that was discussing information about relieving worries. It caught his interest, so he continued to listen to additional broadcasts. He heard the speaker talk about Jesus, and he wanted to learn more. He contacted the LHM—Thailand ministry center, and they had several conversations over the next few days. They sent Chaup a booklet about Jesus and encouraged him to enroll in their Bible Correspondence Course. Chaup wanted to continue learning more about Jesus, so the LHM—Thailand staff introduced him to a local church. Along with LHM—Thailand staff, the pastor had follow-up conversations with Chaup to nurture his faith. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, Chaup became a Christian and is preparing to be baptized. He has peace in his heart, knowing God will never leave him. Chaup said, “I want to say thank you for the radio program that introduced me to the Good News of Jesus and gave me hope. I have peace when listening to Jesus’ story and the BCC lessons helped me understand why Jesus came to the world. I pray that God will heal me and guide my life every day.”
