Ministry in Argentina:
Lutheran Hour Ministries (LHM) programs in Argentina include a mix of programs that reach out to non-Christians with the Gospel and equip Lutheran Christians to share in this effort. There is a special focus on supporting the Argentina Lutheran church missions in Rosario, Tucuman, Salta and Patagonia.
Like each Lutheran Hour Ministries (LHM) ministry center, the Argentine ministry center relies on a variety of techniques to reach the unchurched. Outreach programs include radio spots, text messaging, podcasts, youth programs (Project JOEL), outreach seminars, musical theater and printed literature.
One program of particular interest is Project Macedonia. Its focus is on church mission areas and includes media outreach followed by a multiphase follow-up effort and seminars to equip the participants to use media tools and make effective visits in that follow-up process. One of the main goals is to get interested contacts involved in a small group Bible study. This has been very effective in many places.
