Holistic Program Teaches Woman About Jesus
A couple years ago, Prakong went to an eyeglass clinic hosted by LHM—Thailand in cooperation with Brookfield Lutheran Church from Wisconsin. She practiced a non-Christian religion, but when she received LHM—Thailand’s Christian booklets at the clinic, she was eager to read them. A local pastor who was at the eyeglass clinic followed up with Prakong. He visited her at home and shared the Gospel message with her. Prakong learned about Jesus and was interested in enrolling in LHM—Thailand’s Bible Correspondence Courses. Prakong’s husband was not interested in hearing the Gospel message at first, but he has seen how the Holy Spirit has been working in Prakong’s life and is eager to learn more. Prakong was recently baptized and is attending church with her daughters. She is thankful for LHM—Thailand staff who support her while she continues to grow in her faith.
