LHM Ministry Response
Since its reopening in 2003, the Lutheran Hour Ministries (LHM) center in South Korea, known as Korea Lutheran Hour (KLH), has been working to spread the Gospel and to create a youthful vibrancy within the Church in South Korea. The Christian-culture resources produced by KLH are valuable evangelistic tools, reflecting Korean traditions.
KLH carries out LHM's mission of proclaiming, equipping, and engaging through various outreach ministries. Theatre and music events sponsored by KLH provide opportunities for non-Christians to connect with Christians and local Lutheran congregations. Christian "Jazz & Vespers" performances attract attention from the public as well as local media. In addition, KLH ministers to the Korean people through its Web site, newsletter, and Korean language LHM videos and books. KLH is also taking steps to spread the Gospel in North Korea as well as in China.
