Hey Ambassadors! We’re happy you made it to our Giving Tuesday Ambassador page. This year, we want to extend the reach of LHM further than ever before and we are confident that we can achieve that with your help!
Giving Tuesday is an annual day of fundraising for non-profits that occurs every year on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving. LHM participates in this day of giving every year to reach our financial goals and raise awareness about our mission. This year Giving Tuesday is November 30, 2021, so mark your calendars!
As an Ambassador we are inviting you to support LHM and share your support through a Facebook Fundraiser. With a goal of $100,000 and a matching grant of $100,000 we need your help! With an individual goal of $500, you can share on your personal Facebook page WHY Lutheran Hour Ministries is so important to you and HOW the support of others can make a difference!
Here’s how you’ll get started:
Visit https://www.facebook.com/fund/LutheranHourMinistries/ on November 24th.
When you reach this page, Facebook will ask you to answer a few questions.
Set a timeframe: Visit this page on Nov. 24th to set it up right away and set your end date for December 1, 2021! The day after Giving Tuesday. This gives you 7 days to reach your goal!
Set a financial goal: We recommend the goal of $500, that’s about $70/day
Name the Title of your Fundraiser: We’d recommend including Giving Tuesday in the name. For example: “Shawn’s Giving Tuesday Fundraiser for LHM”
Tell Facebook why you are raising money: This one is the most important. Think of a reason why you are passionate about the mission of LHM and write it here!
Last, select a cover photo: we have provided one here on this webpage if you would like to download it, otherwise you can use the cover photo provided.
Hit the “create” button to launch your fundraiser!
That’s it! You have completed the 6 steps needed to create a Facebook Fundraiser in support of Lutheran Hour Ministries! Be sure to THANK anyone who supports your fundraiser, we will keep an eye out for them too!
