Dear Friends in Christ:

As the Speaker of The Lutheran Hour, I am privileged to introduce a unique anniversary trip to Germany, the Land of Luther. It is unique because, in preparation for this trip, LHM Executive Director Bruce Wurdeman, Trans World Travel President John Gibbs and I went to the Reformation states of Thuringia and Saxony-Anhalt. During that time we selected our hotels and we visited with the Presidents of both States. They helped us plan this trip which celebrates the upcoming 500th anniversary of the Reformation.

If you have never been to Germany you will find this trip incredibly complete. Of course we will visit those places which are most important to those who love Luther’s Theology and Bach’s music. But we will also see the Bavarian Alps, Oberammergau, Hitler’s Mountain retreat and mad King Ludwig’s Neuschwanstein Castle. We will be impressed by the ancient city of Augsburg and the modern metropolis of Berlin. And we will step off the beaten path to offer cultural activities that are most special.

As is the case with all our Lutheran Hour Tours, most meals are included as is the cost of tips to all guides and bus drivers. Novice and veteran travelers read on and then join me on this Reformation Anniversary Tour to Germany.

In Christ, your fellow traveler,
Rev. Gregory Seltz
Speaker of The Lutheran Hour
