Miriam is 15 years old and comes from a non-Christian background. She saw a Facebook advertisement from LHM staff and volunteers in the Middle East and North Africa about stress and decided to reach out to ask some questions. She sees so many people facing challenges in the world today and wants to know why these things happen. The staff member she talked to said that a lot of people experience disappointments when they try to live a life without God, resulting in pain when our choices do not align with God’s will. Miriam immediately recognized that was happening in her life. Since she comes from a non-Christian household, she was surprised to hear the Gospel message. The Holy Spirit worked in her heart and her eyes were opened to God’s love. After chatting for a couple days with the staff, Miriam became a Christian and is now deepening her relationship with God.
