Pray for Lutheran Hour Ministries as we seek to reach people throughout the world with Christ's message of hope. Pray for our leaders, LHM's Executive Director Greg Lewis, Int'l Lutheran Laymen's League President Jack Kidwell, Director of International Ministries Rev. Walt Winters, and Director of North American Ministries Rev. Steven Siegel as they lead us in Bringing the Nations to Christ–and the Nations to the Church.

Pray for LHM's North American Ministries' Outreach Efforts

Pray that Churches Realize the Potential of LHM's Congregational Tool Kit
Pray that congregations will use the ads, research, and materials found in LHM's Congregational Tool Kit, LHM's online multimedia resource, to reach out to those in their communities with the message of Christ's love. Pray that these churches will welcome more people who need Christ into their congregations and schools.

Pray for Recipients of LHM's Backpacks for Kids Effort
Pray for the children affected by the recent hurricanes in the southeastern United States. Pray that, through LHM's Backpacks for Kids program, these children will hear Christ's message of hope brought to them through the spiritual materials provided. Pray also that the backpacks will leave a lasting impression about sacrificial Christian love upon each child who receives one.

Pray for LHM's International Ministries' Outreach Efforts

Pray for LHM's International Prison Ministry Efforts
Pray for Lutheran Hour Ministries' (LHM) prison ministries throughout the world. Sometimes LHM employees are trapped in prisons during riots, with only prisoners protecting them from other prisoners. All of LHM's international directors, both male and female, visit prisons, so pray for their safety and God's will during these visits. In Russia, a music group performs at the prisons, so pray for them, also, as they spread Christ's message of hope through music.

Pray for the Worldwide Outreach of LHM's International Ministry Centers
Each country where LHM operates faces unique challenges from the government and opposing religions. They often lack the necessary resources to reach as many people as possible. Pray for the employees of our international ministry centers and their volunteers that they are able to reach those who need to hear God's word. Pray specifically at this time for our spotlight LHM ministry centers in Latvia, Myanmar, Nicaragua, and South Africa.
