| Share Hope: A Back-to-School Service Project for Students of All Ages |

 I know what you're thinking: School supplies? But we just celebrated Independence Day! The fact is, many parents will start shopping for school supplies during the next few weeks, and Lutheran Hour Ministries (LHM) has the perfect back-to-school service project for your class, youth group, or Sunday school class.
As students are shopping for this year's school items, it is a great time to remind them that many children around the world cannot even afford basic school supplies.
And that's not it. Many of these students have not heard about God's perfect gift of grace through His Son, Jesus Christ. Some have survived natural disasters and live in terrible conditions. These children desperately need to hear Christ's message of hope.
During this year's back-to-school rush, get your church or school's youth together to fill Global Care Packages and send them to an approved collection site. LHM will send the packages to our ministry centers around the world where staff and volunteers add Christian literature in the native language, distribute the packages, and initiate a mission opportunity with those who need Christ.
