Beginning May 4, Lutheran Hour Ministries' Woman to Woman® radio program will air new episodes on at least 221 stations. The 30-minute radio program is hosted by Phyllis Wallace and will address topics of relevance for women. Designed for women wherever they are in their faith walk, program guests offer expertise and experience for listeners to use in their own lives. The show's Web site, www.womantowomanradio.com, officially launched April 1.
The Woman to Woman radio program, Web site, Book Club, and electronic newsletter are all great tools for church women's groups or school moms' groups. You can listen to the program online at any time that is convenient for your group. The show relates the Word to real-life issues, so it is a great witnessing tool for those who do not know Jesus Christ.
As part of LHM's mission to take the Gospel to all people, Woman to Woman will be a strong voice for women listeners. "Lutheran Hour Ministries' mission is to proclaim Jesus Christ as the Savior. New productions of Woman to Woman use a more direct spiritual approach for leading women to a better understanding of their need for Jesus Christ in their lives," says Executive Producer Sandi Clement. "Phyllis Wallace's personal experience, as well as her background in counseling, helps to assure the listener they are not alone."

Sponsor a Young Family's Trip to Lexington Your congregation can help equip one of its families to share the Good News of Christ by sponsoring a young family to attend the International Convention of the International Lutheran Laymen's League July 24-27, 2008 in Lexington, Kentucky!
Family Scholarships is a great way to pass on the important work of Lutheran Hour Ministries to the next generation. At the Convention, families will hear about LHM's outreach programs and ways they can implement them in their home congregations, be uplifted and inspired by worshipping with a large group of dedicated Christians, and receive outreach training specifically geared to young families. Kids will enjoy special events just for them and plenty of family fun!
Participants in the family scholarships program can also attend the LHM Reach track of the International Convention on Saturday, July 26, which is geared toward 25-35 year olds, though people older and younger are also welcome to attend. Reach will address the specific outreach needs of this generation including workshops for young families and people who are single.
To learn more about the Family Scholarships program, the Reach track, or to register for the International Convention, please visit www.lhm.org/convention.
