| ‘LHM Sunday’ to Be Held in Most Churches Feb. 24 – LHM Needs Your Help! |

 Lutheran Hour Ministries Sunday, LHM’s annual special Sunday, is coming soon. Through celebration of LHM Sunday, church members encounter the life-changing nature of the Lord’s work through LHM and learn how they can be a part of its mission of Bringing Christ to the Nations—and the Nations to the Church. LHM Sunday will officially be held in most churches Feb. 24, but churches can hold it on a different day if that is better for their schedule.
By celebrating LHM Sunday, your congregation will have the opportunity to share in an outreach-focused worship experience. LHM provides all of the materials needed to hold the special Sunday: instruction sheets, video, giving envelopes, promotional materials, and Web resources including a special order of service; optional sermon written by the Rev. Mark Muenchow, Pastoral Advisor for the International Lutheran Laymen’s League; a children’s sermon written by DCE Faith Spelbring; and much more! You can use as few or as many of these resources as you want to make LHM Sunday a part of your congregation. Click here to see available materials.
LHM even provides presentation materials so that you, your LHM Ambassador, or another volunteer can share the incredible Gospel proclamation of The Lutheran Hour® broadcast and the phenomenal response of people in more than 40 countries as they encounter Christ through the work of LHM offices overseas.
LHM Sunday also gives congregants the opportunity to financially support the Gospel proclamation of LHM through gifts, over and above what they tithe to their church. Friends of LHM have offered a $50,000 challenge grant in the United States, which gives donors the opportunity to double the impact of their gifts. As a thank you, LHM will provide a free copy of Pastor Klaus’ 52-week Changeless Christ, Changing World devotional book for those who donate and request it.
