| Christ-Centered Topical Booklets Share a Message of Hope |

 You may not know the trials your church members, co-workers, and students are going through since people don’t always talk openly about their problems. That's why Lutheran Hour Ministries (LHM) produces Christ-centered topical booklets to help your church reach people who are hurting. From alcoholism and anxiety to time issues and parenting, these booklets address today's relevant issues.
A college student named Leslie picked up the booklet Forgiveness is for Giving at her campus health care center a couple of weeks ago. She said, “I have been trying to forgive my sister for things she has done and it has been very hard, since she does not care. This booklet is helping me to learn to forgive her even though she does not want or ask for forgiveness. Thank you!”
Many people find LHM booklets helpful when they are going through major transitions in their lives. One woman said, “Your booklet called You Are Never Alone was a great help to me when I lost my husband.”
LHM has more than 50 booklet titles to choose from, plus about 40 booklets in Spanish. Booklets are 40 cents each and can be purchased whether you have a Project Connect display or not. You can also download PDFs of booklets at www.shoplhm.org.
A freestanding Project Connect display from LHM is an ideal way to encourage distribution and use of these booklets. Whether placed in the narthex of your church, a counselor or doctor's office, or even a repair shop, it allows people to seek out Christian advice on difficult situations without having to feel intimidated. The full-size, freestanding display holds approximately 230 booklets and comes with a promotional packet, quarterly newsletter, and a free sample of each new booklet as they are introduced, several times a year. The PC Junior display is ideal for smaller spaces. This countertop display has four sections and holds about 30 booklets.
Even people who already know Christ sometimes need encouragement and reassurance that He is there. LHM's topical booklets remind Christians that they are never alone and share the Good News of Jesus with those who do not know Him.
Use LHM’s Postcards to Reach Out to Your Community
Lutheran Hour Ministries is creating sets of postcards for congregations to use in their targeted mailing efforts to specific groups within your community, as well as to publicize special events within the congregation. The colorful and inviting postcards are used to follow up with unchurched families who attended Vacation Bible School or even worship guests and attendees of a special event. Seasonal cards are available and more are being designed.
Congregations can add their own message and information to the cards. Designed in sets of two, the cards can be sent sequentially to people by churches to provide two impressions of a message or invitation.
