| Lenten Devotions Now Available in Three Printable Formats |

 Lutheran Hour Ministries (LHM) provides special daily devotions for the upcoming Lenten season. The devotions, entitled Time for Renewal, will help you appreciate a different type of renewal during this time of reflection. It’s not a temporary renewal like a remodeling project or a face-lift. It’s an eternal renewal. It’s not a renewal from the outside in, but one that makes you different from the inside out. This year’s devotions were written by Chaplain Doug Nicely, Chaplain for Memorial Hospital in Belleville, Illinois.
The devotions are available in three easy-to-use formats. They are available online and as downloadable printable versions in both English and Spanish. For your listening pleasure, MP3 files of the devotions will be available in English on a daily basis beginning Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2007.
The printable versions can be customized for your congregation. Include your church name, worship times, and contact information for distribution into your community and for personal reflection. Visit LHM’s Time for Renewal Web site now at www.lentendevotions.net.
Here’s how you access them:
Visit www.lentendevotions.net, click “Printable Files for Your Church,” and choose English- or Spanish-language booklets. On the next screen, choose which type of booklet you want to print. After you select the type of booklet, you will see a link for “Print Directions (PDF),” which gives you step-by-step instructions to customize and print the devotions. Directions for the Spanish-language booklets will be available in soon Spanish and English.
Share Christ’s Message of Hope through an LHM Volunteer Project in Louisiana!
LHM’s third hurricane relief trip is March 11-17, 2007. Please join LHM, LCMS World Relief, Laborers for Christ, and Orphan Grain Train at Camp Restore in New Orleans East to help repair homes in various stages of restoration. The trip is scheduled during many students’ spring breaks, so be sure to let your teachers, directors of Christian outreach and education, youth pastors, and college groups know about this opportunity to serve others!
