| LHM’s Holiday Specials Airing this Christmas Season |

 Tell your congregations and your friends and family ... television stations from coast-to-coast are airing Lutheran Hour Ministries’ animated Christmas specials through Dec. 25 to help people remember the reason for the season. Favorites Little Shepherd and Red Boots for Christmas are airing on stations with a potential of reaching more than 55 percent of U.S. households. Select cities are also broadcasting other LHM TV classics, The City That Forgot Christmas, Christmas Is, and The Stableboy’s Christmas.
We will continue to update the holiday special broadcast schedule weekly as new stations are added. Dates and times are subject to change by TV stations. You can also purchase the Christmas specials on DVD or VHS from LHM’s Online Store.
New Children’s Web Site Provides Safe Place for Children to Play Online
LHM has unveiled a new interactive children's Web site, JCPlayZone.com. The Web site engages children through games, crafts, recipes, and other activities. A matching game teaches them about Noah's Ark and tells them where Noah's story is in the Bible. The site also offers electronic greeting cards for children to send to friends and family and seasonal crafts and recipes that children can work on with older siblings or parents. Christmas craft ideas include a no-bake gingerbread house, wreath, and magnetic ornament photo frame. Games, activities, and coloring pages will change often to encourage children to return and check out what’s new. Created especially for children ages 2 through 6, JCPlayZone will rapidly become one of your child’s favorites!
A companion Web site called JC ParentZone offers parents access to relevant parenting information from a Christian perspective. The articles and spiritual questions are updated regularly. A current article encourages parents to continue traditions with their children to create lasting memories and a sense of history and continuity.
