| 'Practicing Hospitality' and 'New Neighbor Outreach' Now Available |

 Lutheran Hour Ministries now offers two new resources designed to help churches more effectively welcome visitors to both the community and the church. The two resources are designed to complement each other but also may be used separately.
Practicing Hospitality can help your church give each visitor a warm and generous welcome. It also helps congregations identify areas for improvement and plan simple changes to enhance your church's welcoming atmosphere. In addition to the biblical examples of hospitality, this learning module uses experiential learning that will help avoid common welcoming "faux pas" situations.
New Neighbor Outreach (NNO) can be the next step for churches. This self-guided program will help your congregation welcome new families into the community and your church. This lay-driven program is systematic, practical, and can provide your congregation all the resources needed to establish and sustain an ongoing outreach effort. An online tracking system helps congregations coordinate their outreach to new community members. New Neighbor Outreach can help any congregation regardless of the size or location.
NNO helps establish relationships with new community members, including relocated Christians, non-churchgoing Christians, and non-believers alike.

There's Still Time to Join LHM's China Tour
It’s not too late to join Lutheran Hour Ministries in China Feb. 9-22, 2007. The extended deadline for registration is Dec. 1.
