Given for Us are traditional devotions written for believers that take us through the Lenten season. Through the atoning work of Christ's Good Friday sacrifice, God's plan of salvation was accomplished through the crucifixion and resurrection of His Son on Easter morning.
Written for seekers, A New Perspective helps the reader pause, re-focus, and reflect on Jesus' 40 days in the wilderness and His journey to the cross. These devotions encourage the reader to contemplate the saving work of Christ honored on Easter Sunday. It is Jesus' resurrection we celebrate; He alone makes all things new.
Print Given for Us in a 5.5" x 8.5" booklet or a large print 8.5" x 11" booklet. You can also read the devotions online or sign up to receive them via e-mail. Given for Us is currently available in both English and Spanish. It is also in audio form online in English.
A New Perspective is available in English as a printable 5.5"x 8.5" booklet or a large print 8.5" x 11" booklet.
Printable files are also customizable. Churches can add their name, contact information, service schedule, and a listing of special upcoming seasonal events. The devotions can be used to share Christ's message of hope with neighbors and friends in the community and also invite them to church activities and services.
LHM also provides promotional materials to complement the Lenten devotions, which can be found in LHM's Congregational Tool Kit. These include artwork, PowerPoint slides, bulletin shells, Web banner ads, and a bulletin insert. Your church or school can use these materials and the devotions to help you celebrate Easter.
