| There's Still Time to Customize and Print LHM's Advent Devotions |

 You may be among the many who have already downloaded Lutheran Hour Ministries' Advent devotions and printed more than 82,000 copies. If you haven't, there is still time for you to take advantage of the two versions of Advent devotions. Come to the Manger is the traditional version, written for believers, and Christmas Conversations is written in a more conversational style, targeted to seekers. For more information about each devotion book, visit www.adventdevotions.net.
Both devotions are available as customizable PDFs (in black and white or color) in English and Spanish and large-print booklets in English. Audio is available for Come to the Manger in both languages. For those interested in reading Come to the Manger in Chinese, a Web link is available at the bottom right of www.adventdevotions.net. For portability, podcasts are available for automatic downloading to computers or MP3 players.
Churches and schools can customize the printed devotion books and use them to reach out to those in their community. On the inside cover, include your church or school's name, location information, service schedule, and details about upcoming holiday events. Also, bulletin shells, PowerPoint slide templates, Web banner ads, and cover art are available for stylizing church promotional pieces. You can use the devotion materials as a theme for your church's Advent season without a lot of extra thought and work.
Getting Started
Go to www.adventdevotions.net, and click "printable files for your church." Enter your name and e-mail address (this information is needed to remind you via e-mail when LHM's 2009 Lenten Devotions are available), and fill out a short survey. Your survey answers will help LHM market the devotions during future holiday seasons and give an idea of how many devotions are being printed. The devotions Web site will walk you through printing and customizing each type of devotion book.
Also, be sure to refer your Spanish-speaking friends and family to LHM's Advent site that is entirely in Spanish, including the instructions.
