1-2 p.m. Workshop B: Singled Out: Sharing Your Faith as a Single Christian in Today's Culture Led by Michelle Connor, Coordinator of Center for U.S. Missions, Concordia-Irvine. Hear one honest woman’s insight into the joys and struggles of being single, Christian in today’s culture. Singles are one of the largest population groups in the world. Learn practical steps for using your single life to serve God by sharing the Gospel in unique ways. If you’re single or have a heart for single people, this workshop is for you!
1-2 p.m. Workshop C: Empowering Your Family to Witness Hear how missionary Pastor Tony Boos and his family of eight find natural opportunities to share Christ with others. Get ideas and be equipped as a family to intentionally and regularly be a witness to those with whom you come in contact.
x 2-3 p.m. Workshop D: Christianity and the World’s Religions Led by Adam Francisco, DPhil. Christianity’s core teachings and connection to history differ remarkably from any other religion. Come hear how this affects our witness to and defense of the Gospel. All attend.
x 3-4 p.m. Workshop E: Contending for the Faith in the 21st Century Led by Adam Francisco, DPhil. What is a Christian to do when their faith is challenged by a non-Christian? This short seminar will help you to be “prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you” (1 Pt 3:15). All attend.
4-6:15 p.m. Pre-Rally Fellowship and ‘The Lutheran Hour Rally’ Led by Pastor Ken Klaus, Speaker of the radio program. Pre-Rally Fellowship features Christian band Mile 7. All attend.
