Jon E. Jensen serves as Director of Ministry Advancement for Lutheran Hour Ministries. Previously, Jensen served as Director of Gift Planning, Senior Major Gift Officer, and Gift Planning Counselor.

In his current position, Jensen oversees all aspects of ministry fundraising operations, including strategic planning, gift and estate planning, communications and donor relations, and financial program administration. He also serves as president of The Lutheran Hour Ministries Foundation, a foundation charged with receiving, investing, and distributing endowment funds, as well as building and managing a planned giving program offering gifting solutions for donors to further LHM's mission of Bringing Christ to the Nations-and the Nations to the Church. He also works with major donors throughout the United States.

Jensen's career spans over 30 years in international business management and the information technology consulting industry, including the establishment of several successful businesses, serving as president for a Scandinavian firm, operations/marketing vice-president for a French company, and regional vice-president for a US computer services agency. He also serves as an advisor to a number of LCMS congregations.

Jensen and his wife, Tammy, are active members of Peace Lutheran Church in St. Louis, Missouri, where Tammy serves as the office manager. They have five children and one grandchild. The Jensen family enjoys working with international students and has been a foreign exchange host family for many young adults.
