'The Lutheran Hour': an Effective Tool to Sharpen Your Work Witness
The weekly sermons Pastor Klaus pens for The Lutheran Hour connect with people in many ways. Some hear an unmistakable call to repentance and salvation through faith in Jesus Christ. Others receive a gentle nudge that service to God involves more than just putting a bumper sticker on a car or wearing a "What Would Jesus Do?" bracelet.
And then, some gain witnessing tools for the next time they're at the water cooler at work. "I have been a Christian for 11 years now. This morning I listened to the sermon 'Not What They Seem' on 1100 WTAM (Cleveland), and I want to tell you that it was by far one of the best sermons I have ever heard anywhere," said Steve Erisey.
"I came home, looked up your Web site, and printed the sermon so I could memorize it and use some of the many great points made in discussions I have with unbelievers at work, because I often hear many of the arguments against Christianity portrayed in the sermon from people I work with," Erisey added.
"It is a wonderful thing to hear the message of salvation through faith in Christ proclaimed so clearly. Thank you. You made my day," Erisey said.
