Keeping men connected to their Savior
The Men’s NetWork at www.lhmmen.com is designed to help new or existing men’s ministry groups in any size church. Why a men’s network? The statistics are in, and the news is less than great. Today, men are increasingly absent from the church and the number of empty seats is growing!
The Men’s Network offers versatile ministry tools. Video-based “Bible Studies” explore topics relevant to men such as creation, being a hit at home with the wife and kids, putting stuff into perspective, and understanding the teachings of Islam. “How-To” instruction guides give pointers on everything from organizing a men’s retreat, holding a golf tournament, leading a men’s Bible study, or putting on a fish fry.
Other Men’s NetWork components include a menu of “Impact Events” for groups or individuals to participate in. There’s a “Local/Regional Calendar” with dates and locations of men’s group activities around the country. Pastor Klaus holds court in “The Baloney Shop” where he sizes up some piece of balderdash he’s found in the marketplace and proves it’s just “baloney”. There’s also a men’s blog, an archive of savory nuggets to mull over, plenty of “Resources,” and “Braggin’ Rights”—a place where you can show everyone what your men’s group is up to.
We’re excited to say the Men’s NetWork has been shaped from the very beginning by those who will be using it. As we regularly add new Bible studies, tweak and sharpen our content and, in general, make this Web site the best it can be, it’s always done with the end user in mind.
