Bruce Wurdeman

Bruce Wurdeman
Bruce Wurdeman, Executive Director of Lutheran Hour Ministries, is passionate about the ancient world. With a master’s degree from Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, in exegetical theology (Old Testament), this Lutheran educator is well versed in the cultural and geographic milieu from which the characters and events of the Scriptures came to life. His long-standing interest in Israel and the Middle East and his experience traveling in the region will benefit fellow tour travelers immensely. Prior to his current position at LHM, Bruce served the church as a principal and teacher, youth ministry director, campus ministry director, mission and ministry facilitator for the Texas District, and as director of LHM’s United States Ministries Division. Previously with LHM he worked with volunteer opportunities as an assistant director and manager.

Rev. Gregory Seltz

Gregory Seltz
Speaker for The Lutheran Hour, Rev. Gregory Seltz is especially attuned to the ministry dynamics of relationships. As director of the Cross-Cultural Ministry Center and professor of theology at Concordia University, Irvine, Calif., he worked with various cultural and ethnic identities for nearly ten years. As a parish pastor he co-founded Church For All Nations-LCMS, an urban ministry in New York, and he also served congregations in Dallas and Tampa. He has penned texts on what distinguishes Lutherans from other denominations, contributed to publications on Lutheran doctrine, and has authored a number of Bible studies. He holds degrees in New Testament-Biblical Languages from Concordia University in Ann Arbor, Mich., and two graduate degrees from Concordia Seminary in St. Louis—Systematics-New Testament and Sacred Theology in Systematics.

Rev. Ken Klaus

Ken Klaus
Speaker Emeritus for The Lutheran Hour, Rev. Dr. Ken Klaus is a nine-time veteran of trekking the ancient cities and sites of Israel. He is a prolific author of online Bible studies, the Daily Devotions, Stories from The Lutheran Hour, military prayer guides, The Baloney Shop for the Men’s NetWork and more. His 38 years of ministry—12 of which have been with Lutheran Hour Ministries—have had him extensively sharing the Gospel on the road and over the radio. Under his tenure The Lutheran Hour is now heard on more than 1,350 stations across North America. He holds a master of theology degree from Concordia Seminary, Springfield, Ill., and was awarded an honorary title—a doctor of divinity—from Concordia University Wisconsin in Mequon in 2005.
