"Anne called about a month ago asking for anything we had on addiction. She sounded depressed and even desperate. She shared that she had no church to go to. After some talking, she admitted that she was addicted to crack and alcohol - and has been most of her life. She didn't like her situation or even herself. I began praying for wisdom and the right words. I shared how much God cared for her. I told her that there was still hope. Finally, I was able to convince her to let me refer her to a church. I found a church which was less than a mile away and immediately sent the information, and all the booklets on addiction I could find, to her."

"I called her just a few minutes ago. It was like speaking with two different people! She was upbeat and cheerful. She received the information, and she is going to church now. She's in the Word, and, as she puts it, 'on the right track.' She hasn't touched the drugs or alcohol. She has a new hope. She thanked me for letting her call and for the help we gave her. Thanks be to God! I can't wait to meet her in heaven!"
