St. Louis, Mo., June 4, 2003 General admission tickets to "Lutheran Hour Ministries Presents Ken Davis and Friends" are now on sale via TicketMaster at www.ticketmaster.com or 309-676-8700. Davis' 7:30 p.m., July 18, live performance will take place at the Peoria, Ill., Civic Center Arena as part of the Lutheran Hour Ministries 2003 Outreach Expo and Convention.
Known for his cross-generational humor and inspirational Gospel message, Davis will perform for the very first time with the Christian rock band, Echelon, and artist Michael Lewis.
Considered Peoria's Christian family event of the summer, Davis' presentation will offer clear strategies to help build family bonds with his unique joyful twist of Christian humor and storytelling. Echelon is the official band of The Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod's 2004 National Youth Gathering and will perform some of their best-loved hits. Michael Lewis, also known as "The Jesus Painter," blends vivid colors on canvas, creating striking portraits of Jesus Christ, live on stage.
