Area Attractions & Activities

Lexington    •    Louisville    •    Cincinnati
Attending the 2008 International Convention will provide you with the perfect opportunity to discover the charms of the Bluegrass region of central Kentucky. The “Horse Capital of the World” boasts not only Kentucky Horse Park but also many other fascinating sites for horse lovers. You can tour one of the region’s hundreds of beautiful private horse farms, visit historic Keeneland Race Course, and much more!

The area is also rich with history. In Lexington you can visit the homes of First Lady Mary Todd Lincoln and statesman Henry Clay. Learn about Daniel Boone at nearby Fort Boonesborough State Park, or see America’s largest restored Shaker community at Pleasant Hill.

Lexington is also within easy driving distance of other attractions in the region, from the Louisville Slugger Museum and Factory, to Churchill Downs, to the Kentucky Artisan Center in Berea, to the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden, to the new Creation Museum in northern Kentucky. The area offers so much for all ages!
