Excitement Awaits Youth and Children in Saskatoon

Saskatoon offers exciting opportunities for children to have fun and learn something new. This year's children/youth event package requires a small registration fee of $35 that includes all supervised activities, a special convention t-shirt, transportation, materials and snacks throughout the convention. The additional costs listed below are based on which days a child participates in the program.

Children/Youth Schedule

Thursday
The adventure begins with a morning ice-breaker and music followed by cookie decorating for an afternoon servant event at Luther Heights Senior Center. After a relaxing picnic lunch overlooking the South Saskatchewan River, you'll visit some special seniors at Luther Heights before going to Diefenbaker Park to play frisbee golf. A pizza dinner and devotions will be held at St. Paul's Lutheran Church before finishing off the evening at the Sharaton's River Country Waterpark.

Friday
The day starts with breakfast at the Forestry Farm & Zoo followed by outdoor activities. After lunch at Grace Lutheran Church, you'll head to the Ruckers game center for an afternoon of miniature golf, games and prizes. You'll return to the Delta Bessborough for Family Night's dinner and entertainment before ending the evening with cool treats at the Bus Stop.

Saturday
During the morning and afternoon, teens (ages 13-17) will participate in LHM's five14 witnessing training program while children (ages 7-12) will take part in Coach JJ's "Let Your Light Shine" mini-VBS course. Following the LHM Celebration Service, the children and youth will head over to Zion Lutheran Church for dinner and Saskatoon's "Gym Blast" of inflatable games that is not just for small children. The weekend's activities will wrap up with a final stop at the Bus Stop.

Childcare will be available for ages 6 and under.
