TeleCare Specialist
(40 hours per week)

This position in our TeleCare Department involves calling past donors to invite them to renew their support, as well as making thank-you calls to new and existing donors.

Requires good communication skills and the ability to convey ministries in a friendly, positive manner. Must be quick thinking, improvisational, responsive in overcoming reservations, strongly motivated and dependable. Professional telemarketing experience preferred. Minimal computer skills needed.

Workweek runs Monday through Thursday, including at least two evenings (Mon, Tues, or Wed) until 8:30 p.m. Benefits through Concordia Plan Services are included.

IT Project Leader

An experienced IT project leader is needed to support Ministry Information Services (MIS) and the Project Management departments. Duties will include: tracking and assigning MIS project requests; defining system specifications and implementing test plans; developing formal documentation for database and application modifications; serving as the MIS liaison for fundraising processes to Ministry Advancement staff; assisting with Help Desk submissions; and assisting with various MIS project management tasks, such as gathering and documenting requirements, developing project plans, leading project teams, evaluating software products, coordinating the testing of new or modified systems, and conducting application training.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or equivalent.
  • Five years experience in support of business software applications, including such tasks as programming, testing, trouble shooting, evaluating software, user training, requirements gathering, and documenting processes and procedures.
  • Experience with fundraising processes and functions.
  • Extensive experience with fundraising software systems; experience with the eTapestry Fundraising system would be a definite plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with people.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Organized, with good time-management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task.

Gift Processing Specialist, Part-time

A detail-oriented person is needed to work in the Gift Processing department during times of peak mail delivery and to fill in during coworker absences. Duties for this part-time position include processing and batching gifts for deposit; opening, processing, and batching donor gifts; counting envelopes for postal refund; and occasionally processing online transactions. Will also type letters, sort mail, file, answer phones, make copies, and perform other office duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High school graduate
  • Knowledge of 10-key calculator
  • Familiarity with computer and Internet use
  • Math aptitude
  • Previous cash handling and/or banking experience
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a team environment

Part-time hours will be scheduled based on department staffing needs.
